The gourmet sandwiches nearby were a real treat. nothing like a fresh bite after hiking! The shared space felt just like home with a chill outdoor garden to relax in.

With all the other perks, it didn't really dim the shine of my stay.

We had a boss time here! Jay was dead sound, helped us with our plans and local trails. The room was clean and cozy, really felt like home. Just be ready for the shared bathroom getting a bit busy now and then.

The wifi was unreliable!!! I expected better connectivity, especially with the amount of social media use required these days. Additional shower gel in the bathrooms would be a nice touch too!!!

Such a delightful stay! The vibes were so homey, and the outdoor garden made for a relaxing hangout. Super clean and spacious rooms just added to the charm!

But don’t count on the Wi-Fi unless you fancy a digital detox. it had more hiccups than a toddler learning to walk! Two shared bathrooms got a bit crowded, so be ready for some queueing fun.

gerard's backpackers was an amazin place to stay! the rooms were big, clean, and had nice views. jay is super nice and really cares about ur comfort -- always checkin in to see if we needed anything. i loved that we could make our own coffee and had access to a kitchen. also, location is quiet but close to town, just a 10 mins walk!

Had such a chill time here! Jay is super friendly and really made us feel at home. Met some cool folks. the picnic area was perfect for hanging out. The only thing is the shared bathroom could get busy at times. But honestly, everything else was just spot on!

The room was one of the cleaner stays we've encountered during our travels. We enjoyed the private porch which offered a nice escape. The view of the garden added a lovely touch to our mornings as we sipped our coffee.

Despite these drawbacks, the comfortable living areas and peaceful surroundings enhanced the experience, making it a perfect retreat.

The Deluxe Double Room with Shower was small but super comfy. Everything was clean, and the views over the garden were lovely. I really liked the modern furnishings and appreciated the good storage space. The only downside was that the bathroom’s cleanliness could use a bit more attention. But overall, it was a pleasant stay.
